We wish to acknowledge the generous advice and assistance given to us by Mr. Richard Lewis who is a highly skilled engineer based in Birdhill, Co. Tipperary. He was Chief Engineer in a shotgun manufacturing company and is an accomplished clay pigeon competitor having won many home and international competitions from 1980 to 2000 including the Irish Gold Cup in 1987 and again in 1991. His advice has enabled us to produce a premium quality product and he has carried out satisfactory independent tests of the finished product.

We wish to further acknowledge the generosity of Mr. Jim Barry of Newtown, Co. Tipperary, who has made his modern flood-lit clay-pigeon shooting facility, overlooking Lough Derg, available to us for product testing. Jim, like his father, is a very accomplished wildfowling and clay-pigeon shot when not otherwise engaged in running his friendly family pub which was first established by his predecessors in 1896.

"Dominant Eye" Shooting problems are solved here!

Test your
Shooting Eye Here

1. Select a small object (no bigger than a golf ball) some 9 or 10 feet in front of you.

2. With both eyes open and with one arm outstretched, point the index finger at the small object.

3. Without moving your arm or index finger, close and open each eye in sequence.

4. You may notice that only one eye matches the pointing position of the index finger.
That is your Dominant Shooting Eye.

5. For  more precise information concerning the effects of this when shooting, read " About Vass" by clicking here or contact info@vass.ie for any quiries.
